About Nicola

Nicola is an actor, singer, and musician currently based in Washington, DC.

Nicola is a graduate of Wellesley College, where she was active in their Shakespeare Society. Favorite roles there include Julius Caesar in Julius Caesar, Posthumous in Cymbeline, and Oliver in As You Like it. After undergrad she got her MFA in Shakespeare and Performance at the American Shakespeare Company in collaboration with Mary Baldwin University— favorite roles there include Romeo/Lady Capulet (yes, both!) in a small cast production of Romeo & Juliet, and Leontes in The Winter’s Tale.

Since moving to DC she’s worked at Brave Spirits Theater, Pinky Swear Productions, Shakespeare in the Pub, and Capital Fringe, working on new musicals, feminist adaptations of Shakespeare, and educational touring productions.
